As you are planning to come as 7- 10 days, this tour is the short version for your choice and nevertheless this one week tour  could provide you to see all of Myanmar Endemic species and most of the endangered species within a week. White-throated Babbler, Burmese Bushlark, Jerdon’s Minivet and Hooded Treepie, White-browed Nuthatch, Burmese Tit, Mount Victoria Babax (a potential split from Chinese Babax) are key birds on this tour.

Day to day

Day 1. Yangon Arrival

Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, RMT representative and your RMT guide will welcome and transfer you to your hotel. If you have time, you will have birding in Yangon.
Over night at Hotel in Yangon.

Day2 . Fly to Nyaung U ( Bagan) & Bagan Birding

Leave hotel early in the morning for airport around 5:00am and fly to Nyaung U (Bagan). After check-in to the hotel full day birding in Bagan.
Over night at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 3. Bagan Ayeyarwaddy River Birding & Sight Seeing

Leave hotel early in the morning for airport around 5:00am and fly to Nyaung U (Bagan). After check-in to the hotel full day birding in Bagan.
Over night at Hotel in Bagan.

Day 4. Drive to Kanpetlet from Bagan

After breakfast we will drive to Kanpelet (Mt.Victoria ) we will cross the Chuk Township which one of the Natural  Oil Field Area .After that you will go to the Ayeyarwaddy River Bridge about to hour drive and will  start the bird watching. You will look for Hooded Treepie  ,Long –billed Pipit ,Whitr-eyed Buzzard and near endemic and very rare bird White-rumped Falcon,Alexandrine ,Rose-ringed,Grey-headed ,Red –breasted,Blossom –headed Parakeets. Small ,Rosy ,Scarlet Minivets ,Indochinese Cuckooshrike,Red –headed Trogon,Velvet Fronted ,Negleced (Split from hestnut-bellied) Nuhatch and any other  species fter that then you will go to Kanpetlet. And arrive there at about 5 pm and will be checking in to Pine Wood Villa Resort.

Day 5.Kanpatlat Birding

You will do birding full day at Mt.Victoria (Natmataung National Park) which is located at Western Myanmar and also remain at Eastern Himalayan region. This area is a major focal point of the birding tour It holds a great variety  of Eastern Himalayan birds speeches ,near endemic bird species and Myanmar endemic bird species. Early morning you will go by car from Hotel to Birding point about one hour high area  altitude is between 7,500 ft –(nearly 9,000ft above Sea level ) the ten miles camp .The habitat type of Mt.Victoria is characterized by pine, oak, rhododendron and evergreen forest with shot grassland. This area we can able to see two Myanmar Endemic species. In this day we will be birding the whole day .For lunch, you will have packed lunch and coffee.
We drive back to Hotel about 5 pm. Dinner at Hotel and over night at Hotel.

Day 6. Kanpatlat Birding

You will weak up very early morning and after breakfast, the guide and driver will drive to same as yesterday Area. In this day you will be birding the whole day ..We drive back to Hotel about 5 pm.Dinner at Hotel and over night at Hotel.

Day 6. Kanpatlat –Bagan

In the early morning drive back to Bagan, On the way we will stop about 2 or 3 places for birding watching .We can able to see Grey-capped Pygmy, White-bellied ,Gray-headed Woodpecker ,Greater ,Lesser Yellownape ,Huimalayan,Common,Greater Flameback,Minvets,Orioles ,Bulbuls,Yellow –vented ,Scarle-backed Flowerpeckers  , any other Leafbirds and Repters .We will be lunch on the way and we will arrive to Bagan about 5 or 6 o’clock.
Over night at hotel in Bagan.

Ayeyarwaddy: White-tailed Stonechat, Sand Lark, Plovers, Wood Sandpiper, Temminck's Stints, White, Yellow and Citrine Wagtails, River, Grey-headed and Red-wattled Lapwings. Pied, Common and White-throated Kingfishers, Pied / Eastern and Western Marsh Harriers and any other Repters, Small and Oriental Pratincoles, Great Cormorants, Indian Spot-billed Ducks, Ruddy Shelduck, Oriental Skylark, Striated Babbler and Black- bellied Tern and River Tern are recorded in Ayeyarwaddy.

Bagan: Bagan is special area of Myanmar endemic species as White-throated Babbler, Burmese Bushlark, Jerdon’s Minivet and Hooded Treepie. Other key birds are Laggar Falcons, Yellow-eyed Babbler, Long-billed Pipit, Vinous-breasted Myna, Brown Prinia, Streak-eared Bulbul and Eurasian Collared Dove, Burmese Shrike. Rain Quail, Barred Button Quail, Chinese Francolin, Plain-backed, Russet and House Sparrows, Sported Owlet and Barn Owl and Indian Nightjar. Common and Jungle Mynas, Green and Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Common Hoopoe and Indian Roller are very common to see in Bagan.

On the way to Mt.Victoria : White-rumped Falcon, Great Slaty, White-bellied, Pale-headed Woodpecker, Black-headed, Greater and Lesser Yellownape, Common Flameback, Himalayan Flameback, Greater Flameback, Grey-headed Pygmy , Sported-breasted and Bamboo Woodpeckers. Alexandrine, Grey-headed, Blossom-headed and Red-breasted Parakeets, Hooded and Rufous Treepies, Red-headed Trogon, Grey-throated Babbler, Pin-striped Tit-babbler, Blue- throated, Asian Brown, Dark-sided, Asian Paradise, Little pied and Verditer Flycatchers, Streaked Spiderhunter, Scarlet-backed and Yellow-vented Flowerpeckers, Brown-cheeked Fulvettas, Lineated Barbet, Chestnut-bellied and Velvet-fronted Nuthatch, and Swinhoe’s, Scarlet, Rosy, Ashy and Small Minivets. Blue-winged and Golden-fronted Leafbirds, Blue Rock Thrush..

Mt.Victoria : Key birds are White-browed Nuthatch, Burmese Tit, Mount Victoria Babax (split from Chinese Babax), Black-headed Shrike-babbler, endemic Chin Hills Wren-babbler, Himalayan Cutia, Spot-breasted, Sickle-billed and Large Scimitar-babblers. Black-bibbed Tit, Crested Finchbill, Yellow-billed Blue Magpie, Fire-capped Tit, Yellow-bellied Flowerpecker, Black-throated Prinia, Brown Bush-warbler, White-browed Shrike-babbler, Green Shrike-babbler, Sported Wren-babbler, near-endemic Brown-capped Laughingthrush, Black-throated Prinia (Hill Prinia). Himalayan, Long lagged, common and Oriental Honey-buzzard, Black and Mountain Hawk Eagles, Oriental Hobby, Collared Falconet, Eurasian Sparrowhawk, Crested Goshawk and any other Repters. Ashy Wood pigeon, Mountain Imperial pigeon, Yellow-footed, Wedge-tailed and any other Green Pigeons. Large Hawk, Hodgson’s Hawk, Eurasian and other Cuckoos. Great, Golden-throated, Lineated and Blue-throated Barbets. Rufous-bellied, Stripe-breasted, Crimson-breasted, Darjeeling and Bay Woodpeckers. White-browed, Black-eared, Chestnut-fronted and Green Shrike-babblers. Small, Grey-chinned, Short-billed, Long-tailed and Scarlet Minivets. Slender –billed and Maroon Orioles. Yellow-bellied and White-throated Fantails. Eurasian Jay, Red-billed Blue Magpie, Gray Treepie, Crimson, Mrs. Gould’s, Fire-tailed and Green-tailed Sunbirds. Yellow-breasted Greenfinch, Scarlet Finch, Yellow-breasted Greenfinch, Common Rosefinch, Brown-bullfinch, Spot-winged Grosbeak, Chestnut and Little Bunting.
